A rich, concentrated facial balm of whole-plant infusions, raw Beeswax, cold pressed oils and Murumuru butter, created to restore nourishment to skin that feels dry, depleted, sensitive or compromised.
Resin melts slowly with the warmth of your fingertips, becoming a silky layer of plant oils and butters that envelops the skin, helping replenish its lipid barrier and hold precious moisture close.
Frankincense, Myrrh, Gotu Kola, Calendula and Helichrysum are slowly infused for 42 days, while Australian Sandalwood, Neroli and Helichrysum give Resin its deep, resinous floral scent.
Skin is left soft, supple and deeply nourished. The final step of your evening ritual becomes something to linger over.

After cleansing, mist your skin generously with Rama Rose, leaving it slightly damp. If using Raspberry Tulsi, press a few drops into the skin before applying Resin.
Take a small amount of Resin, and warm it slowly between your fingertips. As it meets the warmth of your skin, the pressed balm will soften and begin to melt.
Gently press Resin over your face, neck and décolletage, allowing the botanical oils, butters and whole-plant infusions to settle into the skin as the final layer of your ritual. Breathe in the grounding scents of Sandalwood, Frankincense and Neroli.
Leave Resin to slowly settle into the skin overnight. Its rich layer of plant lipids helps hold moisture close, while skin is left feeling soft, supple and deeply nourished by morning.
When your skin is asking for more
Resin is beautifully concentrated, so begin with a small amount and let your skin guide you. On evenings when it feels particularly dry, depleted or exposed, apply a slightly more generous layer and leave it on overnight as a restorative facial mask.
I reach for Resin every evening. As my skin matures it needs a protective final layer, that is not only healing but provides essential lipids for my skin. I use it after oil cleansing, misting generously with Rama Rose and a few drops of Raspberry Tulsi. The whole plants mostly come from our garden and are collected by hand during each growing season. I love bringing the garden into skincare - watching how each plant grows and how it is harvested at just the right time.

For Resin, we work with whole plants slowly infused into raw cold pressed oils over 42 days, allowing their naturally occurring oil-soluble compounds to become part of the formula. The finished infusion is brought together with Murumuru butter, raw Beeswax and carefully chosen aromatic extracts to create a rich, layered botanical preparation for skin that is asking for deeper nourishment and restoration.
We choose each plant for what it brings to the formula: its relationship with the skin, its traditional use, constituents, sensory qualities and the way it complements the plants around it. Time is part of this process too. Resin isn't hurried.
The Carrier Oils + Butters
Camellia Seed Oil
Elegant and beautifully silky, Camellia is naturally rich in oleic acid and gives Resin softness and slip. It helps the balm melt effortlessly across the skin while contributing to its deeply nourishing character.
Jojoba
A liquid wax, Jojoba has an affinity with the skin's natural sebum. It brings stability to the formula while contributing to the soft, supple finish of Resin.
Murumuru Butter
Rich in fatty acids, Murumuru gives Resin much of its distinctive pressed texture. Firm in the jar, it begins to soften with the warmth of the fingertips, transforming the balm into a silky layer that glides beautifully across the skin.
Raw Beeswax
Used in a small amount, raw beeswax gives Resin structure while creating a gentle protective layer over the skin. It helps reduce moisture loss and contributes to the balm's rich, comforting finish.
Rosehip Oil
Traditionally treasured in skincare, Rosehip brings essential fatty acids and naturally occurring carotenoids to the formula, contributing to Resin's nourishing and restorative character for depleted skin.
Meadowfoam Seed Oil
Exceptionally stable and beautifully silky, Meadowfoam brings softness and cushion to the formula while helping support the stability of Resin's more delicate botanical oils.
Cacay Seed Oil
A nutrient-rich seed oil with a beautiful fatty-acid profile. Cacay contributes nourishment and naturally occurring tocopherols and vitamin A while maintaining an elegant skin feel within this otherwise rich balm.
Carrot Seed Extract
Carrot brings naturally occurring carotenoids (vitamin A) to Resin. It soothes irritated skin, supports balanced skin tone, reduces fine lines and scaring. It also protects the skin from environmental stressors.
Sea Buckthorn Extract
Distinctively golden and naturally rich in carotenoids, tocopherols and essential fatty acids, Sea Buckthorn supports the lipid barrier by preventing moisture loss. It also nourished irritated skin and flare-ups while reducing the appearances of lines and wrinkles.
The Whole Plants
Frankincense
At the heart of Resin is Frankincense. Traditionally treasured in both medicine and ritual, we slowly extract the resin in-house as part of our 42-day infusion process to release boswellic acid. We include Frankincense for its support for maturing skin, addressing uneven tone, fine lines and wrinkles as well as reducing inflammation and supporting the skin's extracellular matrix.
Myrrh
Earthy, warm and deeply resinous, Myrrh has a long history of traditional use in preparations for the skin. We include it for its anti-inflammatory support and to calm overwhelmed or irritated skin.
Gotu Kola
A revered botanical traditionally associated with skin repair and resilience. Its naturally occurring triterpenes make Gotu Kola an especially interesting plant within a formula created for skin that feels fragile or depleted.
Calendula
One of our most trusted skin plants. Calendula is traditionally valued for its soothing and skin-supportive qualities and brings naturally occurring flavonoids, carotenoids and triterpenoids to Resin's slow infusion.
Comfrey
A traditional skin herb naturally containing allantoin and mucilage. Comfrey supports cellular turnover, helping to smooth rough texture and fade the appearance of small scars and wrinkles. It also supports the lipid barrier preventing transepidermal water loss.
Helichrysum
Sometimes known as the everlasting flower, we use Helichrysum as an infusion and volatile extract. As an infusion, Helichryum soothes the skin and offers lipid barrier support - boosting hydration and ceramide production.
The Aromatic Extracts
Australian Sandalwood
Warm, woody and quietly grounding, Sandalwood forms part of Resin's aromatic foundation. Its depth sits naturally alongside the resinous character of Frankincense and Myrrh.
Neroli
Distilled from the Orange Blossom tree, Neroli brings a delicate floral brightness to the deeper notes of Resin. As with all the essential oils in this formulat, it is with restraint, it lifts and softens the aromatic profile of the balm.
Helichrysum
Alongside our whole-plant Helichrysum infusion, a small amount of Helichrysum essential oil brings another expression of the plant to Resin - warm, herbaceous and slightly honeyed.
Each plant, oil, butter and resin has a reason for being here. Over 42 days, they slowly become something more than their individual parts — a layered botanical preparation designed to nourish, soften and protect the skin.

Our balms are packaged in recyclable violet/amber 50mL glass jars to protect our delicate formula and extend the shelf life.
