Apply Chamomilla to clean skin, ideally while it is still slightly damp. For the face, begin with your usual cleansing ritual and a generous mist of Rama Rose.
Take a small amount of Chamomilla and warm it gently between your fingertips. Allow the formula to melt and massage gently into your face, neck, hands or body, taking a moment to enjoy the soft texture and delicate natural aroma of the plants.
Keep Chamomilla close and return to it whenever your skin needs nourishment. After washing your hands, following a shower, before bed or simply as part of your everyday facial ritual.

Chamomilla grew from a simple idea that has always been at the heart of Mäesi - that caring for our skin needn't be complicated.
Originally, I made separate balms for growing bellies, mothers and little ones. Over time, I began to wonder whether I could bring that same gentle, nourishing care into one preparation that women could use every day, from their face to their hands and body.
The formulation needed to be rich enough to comfort dry skin, but light enough to use on the face without feeling heavy or greasy. I chose hemp seed oil for its beautiful fatty acid profile and lighter skin feel, balancing it with nourishing botanical oils, shea butter and our whole-plant preparations.
Chamomilla became the balm I wanted women to have within reach. On the bedside table, in the bathroom, tucked into a bag or wherever the day takes them. Something to reach for whenever their skin needs a little care.
In Chamomilla, we bring together whole plants slowly infused into cold pressed oils, allowing their naturally occurring compounds to become part of the preparation. These infusions are carefully balanced with unrefined Shea Butter and cold-pressed plant oils to create a nourishing cream with a beautifully soft finish.
We choose each plant for what it brings to the formula: its relationship with the skin, its traditional use, its constituents, its sensory qualities and the way it complements the plants around it.

The Whole Plants
Chamomile
The heart of Chamomilla. Chamomile has been treasured for generations for its comforting relationship with delicate and sensitive skin. Its flowers contain a remarkable diversity of compounds, including flavonoids and aromatic constituents associated with soothing irritated skin. Chamomile supports wound healing, oxidative stress and calms red, reactive, sensitive or inflamed skin conditions. We love it for its balancing quality it brings to the skin.
Calendula
One of our most trusted skin plants. Calendula has a long history of use in herbal preparations for dry, delicate and irritated skin. Rich in triterpenoids and flavonoids Calendula reduces redness and discomfort associated with reactive or compromised skin. It supports tissue regeneration and can soothe chronic skin conditions. We love it because alongside our cold pressed oils, Calendula softens the skin and locks in moisture protecting the delicate lipid barrier.
Gotu Kola
A valued plant for its high levels of triterpenoids that help to boost natural collagen production, skin firmness and wound healing. Gotu Kola calms redness and irritation and promotes the production of ceramides in the skin for a healthy lipid barrier.

Shea Butter
The nourishing foundation of Chamomilla. Unrefined Shea Butter is naturally rich in stearic and oleic fatty acids. It gives the cream its soft texture while helping to condition dry skin and reduce moisture loss. We balance its richness with lighter botanical oils so Chamomilla can be enjoyed across the face and body without feeling excessively heavy.
Camellia Seed Oil
A beautifully elegant oil naturally rich in oleic acid. Camellia brings softness and slip to Chamomilla, helping the cream glide effortlessly across the skin. Its smooth, silky character complements the richness of Shea Butter, contributing to the cream's beautiful everyday skin feel.
Jojoba
Jojoba is composed primarily of long-chain wax esters and has a natural affinity with the skin's surface lipids. We include it for its exceptional stability, conditioning qualities and elegant skin feel. It helps balance the richer ingredients while leaving skin feeling soft and supple.
Hemp Seed Oil
Naturally rich in linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid, Hemp Seed Oil brings a different fatty acid profile to the predominantly oleic-rich oils and Shea Butter. We chose Hemp specifically to help create a lighter finish that soaks beautifully into the skin.
Meadowfoam Seed Oil
Meadowfoam brings a soft, cushiony character to Chamomilla. Its distinctive long-chain fatty acids contribute to the formula's stability while helping the cream leave a smooth, conditioned finish.
Blueberry Seed Oil
Pressed from blueberry seeds, this beautiful raw oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and naturally occurring tocopherols. Its rich antioxidants and natural phytosterols strengthen and soothe compromised, sensitive, or dry skin. Blueberry Oil helps to improve overall skin texture and elasticity while its antioxidants and vitamin C content support even skin tone and promote skin brightness.
Pomegranate Seed Oil
Containing a rare omega-5 fatty acid, Pomegranate oil helps to deeply hydrate, lock in moisture and plump the skin. It also nourishes fine lines and neutralises free radicals from the environment. We love Pomegranate oil because it helps soothe the skin and unlock cellular turnover - this makes it incredible for red, sensitive or dry skin.
Sea Buckthorn Extract
Valued for its naturally occurring vitamins A and E, it helps smooth fine lines, reduce dry skin patches, calm redness and irritation.
